No. : Dental implants will not have chronic pain associated with them unless there is an underlying infection , the implants impinge upon a nerve, or possibly is too close to a vital tooth.

Hard to say: Without more information, it is impossible to say. Typically there is no chronic pain after the surgical placement, unless there was a complication which would have been discussed and addressed. If your implants have been restored and the bite (occlusion) is not completely adjusted, you might have chronic jaw muscle pain. See your surgeon and restorative dentist for an evaluation.
