A member asked:

Should i see a doctor about my finger injury sprain, or just wait and see if the swelling shrinks by itself?

See a doctor: Finger injuries are very tricky and very commonly injuries are missed or patients present in a delayed fashion that limits the treatment options. You should be evaluated by a physician to make sure you do not have a small joint dislocation, ligament injury, or fracture.

Yes: Make sure that the sprain is a sprain and not a fracture into a joint that can lead to permanent problems.
