I had a small cut on my index finger like on the middle line( the three lines on fingers)and there is pain and swelling and i'm not able to bend my finger completely. should i wait for it to heal or consult a doc?

If you have pain/swelling and especially if it is worsening, you should see your doctor. You may have an infection that could require antibiotic treatment. Without seeing it, it is difficult to know. But, clean the area with soap and water and apply an antibiotic ointment to it and see a doctor! Good luck to you!
