Yes: We need to know where it is swollen, which fingers are swollen, are they painful, does this interfere with your function to do daily tasks, do you have other medical problems, what medications do you take and so forth. You would need an evaluation to help clarify the diagnosis. There can be very simple cause, most fo which are not a dangerous problem but there can be serious ones.
