I had a small cut on my index finger like in the middle line where it bends and a lot of pain and swelling . not able to bend the finger completely. shoul i just wait for it to heal or consult a doc?

See a doc ASAP (within 12 hours is best)! A small cut with a lot of pain and swelling may be infected. It is even more serious if it involves the joint.
