None that I know of: These are both relatively common hand conditions, but to my knowledge they are not related. Check out this additional information from the american society for surgery of the hand: http://www.Assh.Org/public/handconditions/pages/carpaltunnelsyndrome.Aspx http://www.Assh.Org/public/handconditions/pages/dupuytrensdisease.Aspx good luck!

No: Two very different entities. Dupuytren's involves a layer of so-called connective tissue under the skin of the palm. It can produce hard nodules and prominent cord-like structures in the palm and can cause gradual but fixed contracture of the fingers. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an entrapment at the wrist of the median nerve. It can produce discomfort, numbness and tingling, and weakness.

Not usually: Sometimes patients with dupuytren's contracture who have carpal tunnel surgery will have exacerbations of their contracture. Otherwise, there is no significant relationship. Dupuytren's contracture and carpal tunnel syndrome tend to affect patients in the same age group, 50-60's.

No: They are different diseases and are generally thought to be unrelated. However patients may be affected buy both at the same time.
