Dupuytren's disease, can you tell me about the operation?

Palmer fibromatosis: Dupuytren's contracture involves one or more benign fibromas in the palmar fascia. You can have the same thing(s) develop in the foot at the plantar fascia. Unless they are painful or restricting use of the digits, no treatment is usually pursued. I haven't had good success with injections. Surgical resection will restrict use of the hand until healed and you have to consider recurrence.

LONG recovery: Opt for a minimally invasive treatment like NA or Xiaflex (collagenase clostridium histolyticum). Faster recovery and lower complication rate. http://centraljersethand.com
