Possibly.: You are actually not noticing more red veins in your eye. What you are noticing are the existing veins in your eye (conjunctivae) that have become more engorged. This is referred to as hyperemia and it is a sign of inflammation. The contact lenses either are not properly fit or you are not breaking them in properly or you are suffering from contact lens overwear. See your eye doctor and explain.
