How can one decrease chances from getting scoliosis?

Cant: Most cases of scoliosis are what we call idiopathic, meaning we don't know the cause, but it is believed that there is a strong genetic component. All that being said, there is nothing known a person can do on their own to lessen the likelihood they will get scoliosis. Thank you for the question.
