A couple of days: You will be swollen after surgery. So it might be advisable to wait and purchase new clothing for a couple of weeks to a month after your breast augmentation surgery. If you do wear a bathing suit make sure scars if visible are covered with sunscreen during the first month of healing.

It varies: It depends on the amount of swelling and pain you are experiencing. Most patients can feel comfortable in a week or two in their swim wear.

Almost immediately: However activities such as swimming or tanning or volleyball will likely be deferred for weeks or months depending on the approach or technique and the extent if bruising.

Soon!: You can wear a swimsuit once initially healing of the incisions are complete - after about 12-14 days. Don't tan, though - it will make your scars darker!

Several days: It does not take long to return to normal activity after breast augmentation surgery. However you must allow for time for the incision to heal and if you plan on being in the sun it is important where sun block. Consult your plastic surgeon for specific details.
