Depends: For smaller volume increases, fat transfer works as well as implants. However for larger volumes, it may take several stages and is more difficult to get the same result as an implant. It also depends on the amount of breast tissue you start with, because fat transfer needs some tissue to survive. Generally speaking, it is more economical to get implants.
