A member asked:

I would like to do a breast augmentation surgery due to the chronic back pain i struggle with. would discovery assist in co-payments for this surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Insurer probably won't pay to augment breasts, as the resulting bigger breasts means more weight to carry around... and more stress on one's back. Visiting a Physical Medicine doctor (a physiatrist) can help, as the doctor can help resolve the back pain, with the assistance of physical therapy, and lots of body training and exercise. A last resort would be cutting down the size of the breasts.
