Sleeping all day - still groggy and want to sleep; how long for hydroxyzine to wear off?

Can be long : Hydroxyzine is not supposed to be a sleep aide and when used for such is prescribed off label due to sedating side effects. It can last a long time and does not allow you to go through your natural sleep cycles so even though you sleep you feel tired and hung over. The new sleeping pills do not have this effect and are shortacting and some are generics and inexpensive.
