Yes: Advair can work very well. Even though it is an inhaler, it is still a powerful steroid. Side effects can include yeast infections in your mouth and systemic effects. Discuss your options with your doctor.

Advair...: Advair is a combination long-term bronchodilator and steroid inhaler. It can be used instead of systemic steroids, thus avoiding many of the side effects of systemic steroids. Follow your doctor's instructions and seek help immediately if you have an acute exacerbation.
