A member asked:

Do multivitamins and calcium with d improve womens health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: A recent article showed that more than 800mg of calcium taken as supplements increased heart disease so take half of your required dose as cal/mag & other half via diet. Vitamin d is important & most people are deficient or low so about 2000/day to maintain; if low may need more. Multivitamins are controversial. I think if you feel a step up with them after a few weeks then they are fine.
