Yes, totally safe: There is a very wide safety margin in taking vitamins and minerals. Women's one a day has relatively low doses of most of its ingredients. It does have 450 mg of calcium carbonate, but this is a relatively poorly-absorbed form of calcium so additional calcium, esp. Better-absorbed forms like calcium citrate is advised.I also advise taking a total of 4-5000 units of vit. D for bone & overall health.
