Depends on activity.: Answer depends a lot on the type of activity you're doing, how much you plan on eating, fitness level and exercise goals. For aerobic activities - eating right before a workout is a recipe for cramps and limited performance. But you do want some sort of meal w/ carbs in the hours prior. If you're weight lifting, you'll want to have protein in your system in the hours after you finish.

M&F: Although this has nothing to do with my specialty, I do know alot about this bc one of my hobbies is working out/body building. Muscle and fitness puts out great diets every issue with really works. Protein before workouts is very important as well as a moderate amount of carbohydrates. Post workout you need a balance of protein and carbs. Meal replacement drinks like muscle milk are great after w.
