Water and carbs: The most important thing to start with is good hydration before, during and after your morning workout. Simple carbohydrates before that workout is important fuel that will give you the energy to perform. After the workout, a protein snack or balanced breakfast containing protein is best ingested within the first 30 minutes of finishing the workout . That in when proteins are best utilized.
