Several 4's!: Choose: walking, including uphill. Climbing stairs, if able. Riding an indoor exercise bike, schwinn-airdyne, preferred. Swimming or aquaaerobics. Dancing. Using 3 lb hand weight to lift while watching tv or listening to news. None are hard core sporting activities, but they will help maintain independence!
