Plenty: Besides the positive physical and stress-relieving benefits of exercise and fresh air, walking in nature allows us to connect with something much larger than ourselves. On our little treks we can open to the entire web of life, realizing that we are part of it, and can impact it. We can quiet ourselves, which allows us space to perceive with compassion -- rather than react automatically.
