Elevated: A glucose of 7.2 mmol/li (129 mg/dl) is elevated. If it is consistently in this range it is consistent with diabetes. I would encourage you to see your primary physician to discuss this. The abnormality is mild and could likely be treated with diet and exercise.

Mild: I would not draw any conclusion on a fingerstick blood sugar.To diagnosis diabetes or prediabetes needs to be a venous/plasma or arterial blood sugar.Theer are variations in capillary samples.See your primary and have him draw a plasma or venous HgAIc.A fingerstick may point toward a diagnosis as a screening tool but venous or plasma must be used to confirm.
