Wake up high sugar: Discuss with Dr., ask if you may be having what is called a Somogyi effect. This is when blood glucose drops too low at night and the body activates mechanisms to get blood sugar high and it may still be high in the morning. You can read about it at Wiki If you have night sweats or know what happens when your sugar gets too low, and you wake up check your blood glucose and see. Discuss with Dr.
