Ear plugged: Ears get blocked as the atmospheric pressire drops when you fly and your ear get plugged feeling. Weh you swallow, your eutachain tube opens up which normalized the pressure on both sides of tympanic membrane resulting in resolution of symptoms. Nasal sprays typically have no role in this.
