Attitude adjustment: Gratitude journaling is one of many approaches to trying to help people change their sense of self by deliberately focusing on positive aspects in their life. A typical approach would be to write down 3-5 positive things that happened in your day and reflect on them to help you feel better about yourself. Works for some people, but not for everyone.
