Look Internationally: The NIH is one of the main funding resources of research universities in the United States. Due to its Schedule 1 classification, the handling and security make it extremely difficult for universities to conduct research on cannabis. Furthermore most studies involving cannabis in peer reviewed journals in the united states do not discuss CBD (Cannabidiol), or strains that provide benefit.
