Is it true that you must wake someone with a concussion at regular intervals?

Yes: If you can easily awaken someone with head injury it suggests they do not have a worsening intracrainial(inside the skull) problem. The opposite is a coma-someone who can't be awoken.

No: If symptoms of concussion progress to something more serious, it is usually within 4=6 hours of the injury. If there is no deterioration in level of consciousness or other symptoms within that time, it should be safe to sleep.
