Yes but not only: Eating too much fat can be bad for you. But low fat foods may be high in other things that are bad for you. Processed food for example can be high in sugar and salt. And you need healthy fats in your diet. Without them you could become depressed, have increased cancer risk, have trouble absorbing vitamins, even develop heart disease, cholesterol problems.

No such thing: The long term effect of a low fat diet is malnutrition. Used for a short time (4-6 weeks) a low fat diet can be employed for weight loss. However, the long lerm effects of low fat diets are miserable.
