Good question.: Why did he fall backward? (Which came first the seizure, the fall) Why did he have a seizure 5 years ago ? What did the neurologic exam show. What did the EEG show ? If he has been given this restriction why is he not being treated for recurrent unprovoked seizures? (Epilepsy) You need to sit down with his Neurologist and carefully go back over this. (or seek the opinion of another Neurologist)
