See a surgeon.: If you've had surgery before, it is likely that you might have adhesions. Though most adhesion related bowel obstruction clears up with conservative measures, some cases need to undergo surgery again. It would be best for you to see a reputable conservative surgeon as soon as possible to get a better assessment clinically and with imaging studies.

I've seen two doctors, one said I need a microdiscectomy the other said I shouldn't have one & to have radio frequency ablation. Dr Steven Simon responded that it should go away in weeks, but it's been over year. Dr suggested RFA because he feels the disc has calcified and surgery should be avoid due to damaging the nerves, this true? I'm in pain & it's affecting sex drive, appetite, bowel movements, my over all quality of life. diff in 2 procedures? L4/L5 herniated disc follow up question.
