I had emergency surgery on my small intestine 2/27 twisted 3 ft taken out. still having pain at incision site. called surgeon told me watch for temperature and severe pain. is pain after this long normal?. or should i see someone else. please help?

Sometimes it takes incisional pain from surgery longer than we would like to resolve. Certainly, as the surgeon said, if you see redness or pus from the site you should be seen immediately. It is never wrong to get a second opinion if you feel as though things are not going as you expect. Consider going so if you continue to have problems. Good luck.
