Have you had stool testing to rule out infectious organisms? If you also notice bloating, gas, abdominal cramping, and food intolerance (especially to dairy/vegetables) you may have developed small intestinal bacterial overgrowth as a result of your procedure. This can be diagnosed with hydrogen breath testing or treated empirically with 14 days of Rifaximin. Discuss more with your GI doc.
