It is actually: Possible, granted exercise makes it easier. Realize for many, the actual key to weight loss is caloric restriction. You need to make sure that you are "burning" more calories than "eating". Exercise does help "burn" more calories than just normal activities of living and also provides other short/long term health benefits. Consider reviewing with your doc what your caloric numbers should be.

Weight loss.: It's difficult to lose weight without exercise. There's only so much that you can cut calories - at some point you need to start using more of the calories you ingest. That's where exercise comes in.
