Acid blocker: You can take Prilosec 20mg daily along with the ibuprofen. If you notice any stomach discomfort, I would take 1-2 teaspoonfuls of an antacid such as Mylanta or Maalox. In addition, if your incisions are closed well, I would ask your physician for some sample Lidoderm patches to see if the lidocaine applied overtop of your knee gives additional pain relief without needing to add additional meds.

Ok.: Prilosec is ok. One, 20 mg. pill per day , as directed on the packaging.
