Food Confession: Oatmeal is healthy and filling. Some brands contain magnesium, which can help with sleep. However, stay away from the instant oatmeal packets which are full of sugar. Also if you eating in the middle of the night, it may be a sign that you are not getting enough calories in the day. Just make sure you are eating well and frequently throughout the day to maintain a healthy diet.

Does this mean: that you don't go to bed until 1 to 4 am?? Does this mean that you get up from sleep to start eating? Unless you are an evening worker - and eat late - not ideal. If you are going to eat something prior to bed - would keep amount small so that trying to digest food doesn't interfere with sleeping.
