Sugar butter: After peanuts, sugar is the most common ingredient in store-bought peanut butter. Nuts are a great source of protein but the added sugar is empty calories. Try making your own using unsalted nuts and a food processor. You'll have to refrigerate it since it won't have any preservatives. Trust me, it's delicious and good for you too.
