Yes: Oatmeal is very healthy. Oats are full of important vitamins, minerals and antioxidant plant compounds & antioxidants. Beta-glucan is a soluble fiber in oatmeal which lowers LDL and total cholesterol levels. Oats may help lower blood sugar levels & improve insulin sensitivity. Oatmeal is very filling & may therefore help you eat fewer calories and lose weight.
