Gallstones : On ultrasound echogenic foci in the gallbladder are gallstones more than likely. Hi cholesterol levels require statin therapy. Taking out the gallbladder is the usual therapy for gallstones. Laporoscopic cholecystectomy is overnight surgery. Oral medication used long ago takes quite some time if it works at all
