Fixable: Your wife is thyroid deficient and that can be corrected by taking thyroid replacement. This will completely "cure"her but she'll likely require medication life long. The lipid analysis is normal but will be even better if it's repeated after her thyroid function is corrected.

Treated, not cured: Hi. Your wife is hypothyroid. It's VERY easy to treat, but is not curable. Her doctor will treat her with thyroid hormone, and adjust the dose to give her normal thyroid function. If she ever stops the thyroid hormone, the hypothyroid condition will still be there (i.e., not curable). So fully treatable, but not curable (just like taking insulin treats but does't CURE diabetes). She'll do fine!
