To be honest: No particular food or diet will lead to weight loss and increased muscle mass alone. In fact, it's clear that certain people respond better to different macronutrients(like proteins, fats and carbohydrates.) It's difficult to say what type of diet you'll respond best too. It's hard to go wrong with a diet rich in colorful veggies and fruits with some lean meats.
