Have itp. when ok, platelets r 90-120 but if done week after my cycle, they go to almost 200 even if sick/bleeding(severe nosebleeds etc). why is that?

Heavy period in ITP: heavy periods or epistaxis not always related to ITP. Spontaneous bleeding in ITP is rare even if platelet count goes down as low as 10.000. Although the platelets are low ,but they are young and function better for hemostases
