Depends: I would recommend PT. That really helps and I have seen people recover. The degree of recovery varies as some people fully recover and some partially. Also braces for drop foot really help.

Foot drop: is definitely a recoverable condition for many patients depending on the level of injury. Some recover 100% however some do not. There are many excellent treatment options available conservatively and surgically!

Maybe....: Drop foot may be curable, and in many cases is effectively treated. Treatments range from bracing to surgery. I suggest that you see an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon to obtain options and determine which treatment is best for you. One in your area can be found at www.Aofas.Org.
