Forefront weakness: Foot drop is when one cannot lift the forefoot up, thus dragging the toes. It is caused by nerve injury, spinal cord or brain injury, and by muscle weakness or paralysis. Treatment is of the underlying disorder and by splinting and bracing.

When the: person loses the ability to dorsiflex their foot….or move it up towards their face….when walking the foot is often dragged as it can't be lifted up...
