Foot Drop Recovery: The first questionto ask is, why did the foot drop occur initially? Was it trauma, a nerve injury, chemical induced, metabolic? Foot drop can resolve slowly, and with physical therapy and an AFO or orthtoic, help the condition as well. The underlying cause is important to know first.

Neuropathy: Sorry to hear about the foot drop. Was it from injury or just sudden without known cause? From the etiology, a better outcome can be extrapolated.
Dr. Jeffrey Bowman
Podiatry 38 years experience
Need: To know if it came from trauma or neuropathy to give better answer.
