Actually, infected follicles are more likely to be caused by pityrosporum yeasts, or if it's bacterial, treatment with local topical measures may be safer and wiser and more effective than a bazooka-gun antibiotic course. You're asking for C. difficile over a few infected hairs? Is it hidradenitis supurativa? A proper diagnosis & focused management is key.
