I have folliculitis on scalp. dr prescribed clindamycin topical solution and doxycycline oral. its been 4 days no difference noted?

Give it time.: Sounds like a reasonable treatment, but 4 days is too soon to see significant improvement. Folliculitis is an infection within the hair follicles, and it takes awhile for the medications to get into them. If you go a week or two without improvement, you might be on the wrong antibiotic for your particular infection, or the diagnosis may be wrong, and you should call your doctor.
