The mri: The MRI will determine how it can be removed and if there is something else causing it. You may need other tests done.

If your doctor: thinks your symptoms are caused by this dermoid, he/she will probably recommend removal. Depends on its size and other risk factors, but you should probably have it removed in any case. Please follow advice that your doctor gives you after the MRI is complete.
