15cm: I am sorry to hear about this but do not worry for now. The Neurosurgeon will not do anything unnecessarily and will discuss this with you in great detail before anything else is done. I wish you well.

Comments: If the dermoid cyst is at this time exerting no mass effect, and causing no hypothalamic/ pituitary problems, could merely follow this with serial MRI's over time. Your neurosurgeon could discuss the surgical approaches, but based on information provided, would suggest no aggressive approach currently.
