I found a lump near my ear. ultrasound result back as 12mm benign lymph node and fatty replaced nodes in perotid gland. what could this be?

Reactive lymphadenop: Odds are they are normal nodes. 12 mm is likely the largest dimension. What is the short axis "smallest" dimension. If 5 mm or less very likely reactive meaning they are fighting inflammation/infection.
