Depends: It depends it whether or not the hernia is causing you any problems. If not, go ahead and train and run. If so, curb your activity based on how you feel. I have heard many docs state you should limit your activity, but in my practice, I generally say activity as tolerated. That is based on a more complete evaluation though. See your doctor to be sure.
