Groin Pain: Assuming a patient can schedule an ultrasound for groin pain means they were given a script for it, therefore advised to get one. Ultrasounds are a very benign diagnostic form of testing. If the pain has not resolved on It's own nor relived by over the counter medication like ibuprofen and a muscle rub, further investigation is warranted.
